  • September 1996Founding

    The first office is in Varedo at the gates of Milan where it all started with an office floor in a new building.
  • 2005Change of location

    500 square meters in a brand new building, a move that establishes and certifies the company's quality leap.
  • 2005Joint venture

    BARENTZ SERVICE:  50-50 joint venture between CHEMSERVICE and the Dutch group BARENTZ EUROPE BV - focus on specialty-driven distribution in Food and Feed industries.
  • 2007The expansion

    Acquisition of SICOS, operating for 20 years in the food ingredients distribution.
  • 2007Certifications

    CHEMSERVICE is certified ISO 9001: 2008, certification obtained from ISOQAR.
  • 2012Expansion continues

    Acquisition of PROCHIFAR, historic distributor and agent for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sector, positioning itself as one of the first players in the panorama of the food and pharmaceutical sectors in Italy.
  • 2011/2014Sustainable growth

    It is in these years that with the continuous growth, CHEMSERVICE turns from S.r.l. into an S.p.A. Today we count more than 150 trusted Principals and key suppliers and cover the entire Italian market. The year 2013 closed with a turnover of €20 million, with more opportunities ahead.
  • Future vision

    We are part and an active supporter of AssICC, the Italian association for the chemical trade and with the introduction of REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals) and the insertion of a modern integrated management software system, we are ready for challenges ahead whilst providing further growth opportunities for our Principals. CHEMSERVICE S.p.A. is certified ISO 9001: 2015 in 2018, certification obtained by BUREAU VERITAS.
